Brazoria County Engagement Session: Megan + Garrett
Megan first noticed Garrett while playing little league soccer. She couldn’t help noticing how cute he was, but left him for the birds because she was still a youngster. After several years, she was reintroduced to him, and found that cupid’s arrow does not have an “best by” date. Although she tried to hide her feelings, Megan had to step in after another girl implied that they thought Garrett was cute, after all, Garrett thought Megan was cute too! Garrett waited until the end of his freshman year at Brazoswood to ask her out, but only got a “maybe”. Megan waited to respond until the right time and he was so excited when she finally said yes! The pair were the perfect match and were even named the cutest couple at their senior superlative award ceremony.
After years of dating throughout high school and college, Garrett decided the time had come for him to make things official. He invited Megan to come to the chapel at St. Michael’s in Lake Jackson along with her family for a portrait photo session. When Megan arrived, her mom sent her in
to the chapel saying that they would be getting started soon. At this point, she had become suspicious of a proposal, but quickly brushed off the thought. She then opened the door to find Garrett standing, looking very handsome in a suit. As she walked up to him, she knew that the moment she had dreamed of was happening. In the middle of the chapel, Garrett got down on one knee and asked Megan if she would marry him. She said yes!
Their session took place in a beautiful, secluded, former golf course in Brazoria county. It’s clear how strong their connection is through just the photos. I quickly found out the the two are not only cute, but super smart and sweet and I can’t wait for their January wedding!
Thank you Megan + Garrett!
